The 3C is ElliptiGO’s entry level model, retailing at a lower price than the 8C and 11R. The ElliptiGO 3C offers 3 speeds/gears which is enough to tackle mild hills up to 5% grade, making it ideal for leisure and riding around town. The ElliptiGO 3C is easier to master for beginners with controls riders are more familiar with on bicycles, i.e. standard bicycle brakes, shifter and grips.
ElliptiGO 11R, folding steering column |
Like the 8C, the ElliptiGO 11R also features Ergon multi-position grips and is designed specifically for long-distance endurance events and hilly terrain.
An added advantage with the ElliptiGO 11R is that it has a folding steering column, making it easier to store and transport!

ElliptiGO 11R Outdoor Elliptical Bike |
All the ElliptiGO elliptical bikes are a great way of low-impact exercising outdoors in the fresh air and are fun to use, whilst delivering an incredible workout at the same time. If you’re new to outdoor elliptical bikes and just want one for leisure riding or riding around town without any steep hills, then opt for the ElliptiGO 3C and save yourself some hard-earned $$s! If you think you’re likely to use the elliptical bike for longer rides and steeper hills then the ElliptiGO 8C is the one for you. For the more serious competitive athletes, the ElliptiGO 11R with its advanced capabilities and lighter weight would be the best elliptical bike for you.
See what some customers who have bought either the ElliptiGO 3C, 8C or 11R Outdoor Elliptical Bikes have to say about them:
J.H.:
“The ElliptiGO 3C is a superb machine. I use it at the shore and the 3 speeds are fine for me on both flat and rolling terrain. I rode the 3C on a metric century with no problems. This outdoor elliptical bike is extremely well built and a great investment. And most importantly it’s fun to ride!”
C.W.:
“I absolutely love my ElliptiGO 8C! I’ve run marathons and am amazed at how awesome it is to go out on the ElliptiGO – it’s like running with no impact. I love being able to exercise outdoors and get my heart rate going and experience the natural endorphin high that runners get. Once you’ve had a go on one of these, you’ll understand the addiction!”
P.S.:
“It’s like I’ve found a new lease of life with the ElliptiGO 11R. I used to be a competitive runner but after hip surgery and some stress fractures, I thought my running days were over. I wouldn’t say the ElliptiGO is a perfect replacement for training runs, but it comes close enough. I’ve done 5x 100 mile rides so far on this, with more planned! These bikes are so much fun and give a great sense of accomplishment at returning to endurance sports. The ElliptiGO 11R is perfect for the hilly area I live in.”
N.B. It’s always advisable to consult your doctor or health care professional before undertaking any new exercise regime.
