The Casio G-Shock Gravity Master Hybrid GPS GPW-1000-1A Watch is the first watch to incorporate Casio’s GPS Hybrid Wave Ceptor technology.

The Casio G-Shock Gravity Master’s GPS Hybrid Wave Ceptor utilizes Multiband 6 and Global Positioning Receiver technology that combine to receive any 1 of 6 time calibration signals around the world (Germany, United Kingdom, United States, China and 2x Japan) along with acquiring position and time information from GPS satellites.  This hybrid combination enables the watch to determine your current time zone and automatically updates the watch settings (including judging whether your location requires the use of summer time or not).

In addition, the Casio G-Shock Gravity Master GPW-1000-1A Watch features a sub-dial at the 8 o’clock position that displays the World Time (40 time zones), so you can view the current time in 2 different time zones at a glance.  There are 2 other sub dials:  24 hour display and date display.
