The Schwinn Hinge features a single-speed drive-train – simply get on and start pedaling with no gears to worry about.  The Schwinn Loop features a 7-speed drivetrain with Shimano twist-shifters – the 7 gears  on the Loop are better if you have hills to climb!

Both the Schwinn Hinge and Loop Folding Bikes feature linear-pull brakes for safe stopping power and 20” wheels with 1.75” wide street tires for smooth rolling.  Both bikes come with fenders to help keep mud/wet splashes away from you as you cycle.

Both the Schwinn Hinge and Loop 20” Folding Bikes feature a height adjustable saddle that makes it suitable for different rider heights ranging from 4ft 8” tall up to 6ft 2” tall.

As with all Schwinn bikes, the Hinge and Loop come with Schwinn’s Limited Lifetime Warranty for as long as you own the bike.

Summary / Notes:

Both the Schwinn Hinge and Loop 20” Folding Bikes feel smooth and sturdy to ride.  They are easy to fold, folding down to a small size and lightweight enough to carry and store in the included storage bag.  Apart from the slight difference in overall design of the frame, the only question you have to ask yourself is do you want a single speed bike or 7-speeds.  Single speed is great for flat roads but if you’re likely to have hills to tackle, then you may want to opt for the 7-speeds!
