Comparing Bushnell Pro X2 versus Bushnell Tour V4 Shift Golf Laser Rangefinder, What's the Difference?

The Bushnell Pro X2 and Bushnell Tour V4 Shift Golf Laser Rangefinders have been redesigned with new Slope-Switch technology that allows you to easily toggle in and out of Slope Compensation with a simple switch on the side of the rangefinder (no more having to go into the menus!), so they conform to USGA 14-3/.05 rules for Tournament play.

Both the Bushnell Pro X2 and Bushnell Tour V4 Shift Golf Laser Rangefinders feature PinSeeker with JOLT technology that provides short vibrating pulses to let you know that the laser has locked onto the flag.  Both rangefinders provide actual yardage and adjusted yardage for slopes (based on the degree of the incline or decline).

The Bushnell Pro X2 is the higher-end model over the Tour V4 Shift and offers better range and more accuracy.  The Bushnell Pro X2 is accurate to 1/2 yard whereas the Tour V4 Shift is accurate to 1 yard.  The Pro X2 offers range from 5 to 1300 yards (450 to flags) whereas the Tour V4 Shift offers a shorter range from 5 to 1000 yards (400 to flags).

Optics are also better on the Bushnell Pro X2 with 6x magnification compared to the Tour V4 Shift’s 5x magnification. Both rangefinders use multi-coated optics for clear images, but the Bushnell Pro X2 Rangefinder also offers Dual Display technology which the Tour V4 Shift does not have.  This Dual Display allows you to toggle between a bright red vivid or sharp black display based on lighting conditions.

Both the Bushnell Pro X2 and Bushnell Tour V4 Shift Laser Rangefinders offer fast focusing, but the Pro X2 also utilizes ESP 2 (2nd generation of Extreme Speed Precision).
