The IZZO Swami 4000+ Golf GPS is the latest model and includes the addition of layup and carry distances to hazards/bunkers and doglegs which the Swami 4000 doesn’t have.  Bear in mind that the Swami 4000+ does NOT include an electronic scorecard, which the Swami 4000 does have.

The IZZO Swami 4000+ comes pre-loaded with 30,000+ worldwide golf courses while the Swami 4000 comes pre-loaded with 25,000+ courses.  Both units feature Automatic Course Recognition on start-up and include Auto-Hole Advance (device must be on the green for Auto-Hole Advance, otherwise you just need to push the Up arrow button to forward to the next hole).

See what some customers who have bought either the IZZO Swami 4000+ or Swami 4000 Golf GPS have to say about them:

M.R.:
“The Swami 4000 Plus does everything as expected.  It finds the GPS signal quickly and is accurate.  Recommended.”

Z.S.:
“The IZZO Swami 4000+ is a great Golf GPS unit for the price.  I love that this unit is rechargeable and comes pre-loaded with all the courses.  Also there’s no fees for updates!  The only thing is you need to physically carry it to the green for it to automatically advance holes (I like to leave it in the golf cart).  It’s not a big deal though to manually advance it.  Very happy overall.”

B.G.:
“I’m very pleased with the Swami 4000 GPS.  It’s far more reliable than my old Bushnell which didn’t always recognize a course or hole.  The color display doesn’t hold its charge for as long as my old black & white Bushnell display but that’s no big deal as it normally lasts long enough for about 27 holes before needing to be recharged.”

N.B.  It’s always advisable to consult your doctor or health care professional before undertaking any new exercise regime.
